Scaresville
With the award for best Halloween Event of 2009 under our belt we are finalising plans for 2010.
We have started our main sales promotion and ticket sales for Scaresville are going very well. We are limiting the numbers coming in during each hour to prevent over-crowding so you need to book early to get the date and time of your choice.
People are also responding well to organizing themselves into parties. We welcome big parties but remember we shall split each large group into smaller units to enter the event. Then everyone has an equal chance of enjoying the various scares.
Catering
We shall be providing a simple 3 course ghoulish 'ghoulash' supper at £12.50 in the Overcroft Restaurant. We can accommodate quite large parties but you do need to book.
The Crucible - Thursday 23 September 2010
The Crucible by Arthur Miller will prepare you well for one aspect of Scaresville 2010 should you happen to meet the Wicthfinder General during your passage round Scaresville. Would you be able to rebut the charge of witchcraft (levelled at men and women) ? It is an excellent and
insightful play and demonstartes well the effect of mass hysteria.
