Cannot believe how this week has been. We had our first lamb I view of our visitors on Sunday 1st April. Since then almost non stop delivery unit. 28 ewes have given birth. Not all without problems. We have named one enormous ram lamb Patrick after Mr P !


He could not stand because he was so heavy. He could not carry the weight of his own head. His legs are as long as his mothers His lungs were rattling with each breath. This was all on Sat. With some careful TLC and tube feeding and antibiotics he is now skipping around his pen and suckling well without help. A ewe who had a prolapse which we had to treat has just produced twins.
