Kentwell is the place for a fun-packed Easter day out. We'll offer some Tudor Time Travel with over 100 of our Tudors re-creating life in the year 1539. Holy manchets (hot cross buns) in the Bakehouse (see right) and many other Eastertide happenings.
To mark 40 years a special Great Easter Egg Quiz for regulars to get excited over and new players to test their knowledge, wit and temper to win a giant chocolate Egg - see left
Egg hunt for children to find the hidden eggs and solve the riddle to win an egg! Plus Lambing & massed Daffodils

St George's Day Tudor Banquet
Rare opportunity to participate in a Kentwell authentic Tudor Feast. Its as much an entertainment as a meal. We hold very few banquets that individuals may join so this is your chance.
Dress up Tudor style if you wish(anything from just a hat to the full fig).
You need to book in advance online or by telephone.
May Day Weekend

A really lively and fun-filled Tudor Time Travel Event.
This is the time of year when Tudors let their hair down with song, dance and plays to awaken & welcome in Spring. Most activities take place round our May Tree with Processions to and from there to the Hall.
We'll be offering an escape from that wedding on the Friday if that's what you seek.
Everyone can join in the fun.

Kentwell's 2011 Open Air Concert Season
Details still being finalised but we hope to have
Shakespeare on 22nd/23rd July - Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet;
Opera on Friday 29th July - Verdi's La Traviata;
Gilbert & Sullivan on Sat 30th July - Patience;
Glenn Miller 1940s Night on Sat 6 August;
and Last Night of the Proms on Sun 14th August.
Full details will be posted on the website once all loose ends are resolved.
