2013 was a year of screams and storms! A massive thank you to the staff and volunteers for their hard work, and of course, to our visitors for the screams!
We're already working to make Scaresville 2014 better than ever, so put the dates in your diary now! Scaresville 2014 will run on selected nights from 10th October - 1st November 2014.
We awoke on Monday morning the 18th to a howling wind and to see ancient trees falling (9 in the Avenue drive alone) and our Unfairground flattened. Almost immediately we lost electricity and that meant as well no telephone, no computers and no water. That was scary !
We started with cold, rain and overcast skies the last two of which make for excellent scaring weather. It is cloudless skies and a bright moon which are our enemies ! It is likely to remain wet underfoot for some nights but manageable with the right footwear. So heed the advice to come dressed appropriately.
Successful opening weekend of Scaresville 2013! Here's what some of our victims had to say:
"It was absolutely fantastic and really great value for money. The best scare maze I've ever been on!" - JB
"Brilliant. Exhausting. Loved it!" - KP
"It was epic!" - KB
Bring your little terrors for half-term Halloween fun at Kentwell Hall!
The first sold out signs have gone up on certain time slots on certain days. If when booking you cannot light up the time slot on the day you want this means that time slot is sold out. Try another time on that day or another day.
Our first Scream Academy of 2013 will be held on Sunday.
There is still time to join our Scream Team if you dare to scare, or want to help out behind the scenes.
Visit: http://www.scaresville.co.uk/scaresville/scareteam for more information.
Scaring is twice the fun as being scared!
Be the Unlucky 13th booking...or should that be victim, of the day and you will enter the Haunted Village for free!
Book by midnight tonight, when the Scaresville creatures will count their victims...
Booking is well under way. Be among the first to visit Scaresville 2013. If you come more than once you'll want to spread your bookings out. (The most visits in one season of which we know is FOUR.)
Note that, apart from discounts by booking early, some time slots are cheaper than others on the same day and some early days are cheaper than later ones.
